About Resonance
Resonance is an iPad party game for 2–8 players around one iPad. Players listen to songs, guess the release year on a spinning timeline, and race to 10 points. It is designed for portrait, full-screen play at a table.
Requirements
iPad running iPadOS 17 or later. Song playback requires Apple Music permission and an active Apple Music subscription. An internet connection is needed to look up songs and artwork.
Getting started
Install Resonance from the App Store. Read the short “How to play” intro on first launch. Choose player count, enter names, and seat everyone around the iPad. Pick a song source (built-in catalog or an Apple Music playlist, if authorized). Tap Start Game and grant Apple Music access when prompted.
Common issues
No sound: Check volume and the mute switch on the iPad. Open Settings → Privacy & Security → Media & Apple Music and allow access for Resonance. Song playback requires an active Apple Music subscription.
Playlists do not appear: Playlist browsing requires Apple Music / media library permission. Make sure you are signed into Apple Music on the device. You can also open Resonance in the iPad's Settings app to manage the permissions granted to the app.
Game progress disappeared: Scores and history are stored only on the iPad. Uninstalling the app or erasing its data removes them. We cannot restore local data.
App crashes or bugs: Please email us with your iPad model and iPadOS version, the app version shown in About inside the app, what you were doing when the problem occurred, and whether Apple Music permission is enabled.
